LEVIATHAN

dystopian space manga?! really interesting plot i was hooked

PARADISE KISS

im geeking tf out guys. im so obsessed with this manga and im so happy i reread it. george is so handsome and IM SWOONING!!! seriously though, i loveee the fashion in this manga and i loved how she grew as a person. interesting characters, story, LOVELY FASHION. this made me want to sew clothes.

NANA

reread! i love the anime but the manga feels so much more, real and grounded? realistic? maybe because theres less.. awkward art and/or censorship? i am genuinely so in love with how realistic this feels. the whole story, the characters.. ai yazawa (the author) is so good at making you feel like youre part of their friendgroup/life. this manga is iconic in the manga shoujei scene, for valid reasons. the characters are written so nicely, the setting is intriguing and damn.. i think a lot of people who read this feel a sort of longing for a live like that. someone should psychoanalyse why sometime. anyways. god. what a great manga.. i feel so inspired after reading it, and ready to take on life again. this makes me really love life, with all its ups and downs, you know? i love love. love. love love. it.!!!!!!!!!!

THE PROMISED NEVERLAND

oh my god. what a journey. somehow, despite being shown monsters on the first page, i never thought it would take such a fantasy turn. i absolutely loved it. this was so fantastical and an amazing journey. i enjoyed every page so much.

OURAN HIGH SCHOOL HOST CLUB

obvs amazing

CLASSMATES

soft. gentle. achingly human. the art feels like a sigh between pages. light, imperfect, beautiful. i adore how subtle the relationship is, how it’s built on glances, pauses, and growing understanding. the quiet companionship is so beautiful. honestly, this manga feels like poetry about first love. so so tender and shy and unforgettable.

HELTER SKELTER

dude. i went into this blind and.. wow.
unhinged, dazzling, brutal. this manga tore me apart in the best way. it’s about beauty, fame, identity, and how easily all of it rots under pressure. ririko is both monstrous and tragic. she’s what happens when a world obsessed with perfection eats its own. the art is gorgggg so so chaotic and raw, like glossy magazine pages burning in real time. i love her art style

IN CLOTHES CALLED FAT

raw and real

GO FOR IT, NAKAMURA!

it was cute!

UNDEAD LOVERS

didnt like it at all

BRUTAL

LOVE IT

MEMORIES OF EMANON

this manga feels like a dream you half-remember after waking up. emanon herself is mysterious, melancholic, and timeless. it’s less about plot and more about feeling. about memory, existence, and what it means to live so long that the world keeps changing while you stay the same. haunting and beautiful. it made me think about how fragile life is.

KILLING STALKING

dude... it’s obsession and trauma tangled up and it made me sick. i couldn’t look away, even when i wanted to. it’s raw and uncomfortable but also an interesting plot.

OUR DREAMS AT DUSK

one of the most tender, beautifully written queer stories i’ve ever read. it’s introspective, gentle, and full of hope. the art is breathtaking and so so full of symbolism and emotion. it’s not about “coming out,” but about coming to understand yourself. masterpiece.

SHE LIKES GAYS BUT NOT ME

surprisingly introspective despite the title. actually very well written i love this manga so much? i reread it often. also made me fall back in love with Good Old Fashioned Lover Boy - QUEEN

STARVING ANONYMOUS

i paused reading this manga so often because my stomach just couldnt handle it. absolutely insane from start to finish. grotesque, horrifying. it’s body horror as social commentary. the medical experimenting was gross but it was interesting. really enjoyed it.

SOLANIN

omggg guys please read this its soo cute. inoue captures that post-college aimlessness perfectly. that feeling of “what now?”.. it’s melancholic but hopeful, quiet but powerful. i love their friendships. honestly, this manga makes me want to pick up my guitar and keep trying at life.

SPIRIT FINGERS

totally recommend this !! i love how every character feels unique and alive. it’s creative and wholesome without being cheesy. the story is so good and its just so lovely and light aaahhhh i love it
